List Server

NewsTurbo comes with a fully functional list server that can completely work in the background and that can be linked to any of your mailing lists.

All you need to use the list server is a POP3 email account that acts as the receiver and a SMTP email account that acts as the sender. You can even use one email account for both purposes.

Any email that is sent to the receiver account will automatically be forwarded to all active list members by using the specified sender account.

Every feature and option that can be selected when sending a regular newsletter can also be selected for the sender account of the list server.

To make the list server more secure you can specify the senders that should be authorized to send emails to the list members. For this, you can choose between 3 different list server modes.

Public mode means that anyone can send emails to all active list members of the linked mailing list but you can also select the member mode which means that only active members of the linked mailing list can send emails to all active list members of the linked mailing list.

Additionally, you can also select the restricted mode which means that only a specific email address can send emails to all active list members of the linked mailing list. Other settings like specifying the listening interval or enabling status notifications can also be enabled.

The list server completely works in the background as a Windows Service and you can enable and configure it individually for each of your mailing lists.
