Blacklist

NewsTurbo allows you to blacklist certain email addresses or even whole domain names.

The blacklist is a filter that prevents certain email addresses or domain names from receiving mails, independently from their subscription state.

So if you have an active subscriber with email address "[email protected]" in any available mailing list and this email address is also listed in the blacklist, the user won't receive your newsletter even if this is an active subscriber.

On the other side, the user "[email protected]" would receive the newsletter because the domain name isn't blacklisted.

Another example, if you have an active subscriber with email address "[email protected]" in any available mailing list and the domain name "bloggs.com" is also listed in the blacklist, the user won't receive an email even if this is an active subscriber.

Even the user "[email protected]" wouldn't receive the email because the domain name is blacklisted. On the other side, the user "[email protected]" would receive the email.

You can add as many blacklist entries as you want - there is no limitation here.

To protect you from disposable email addresses (Trash Email), you can also decide to include all known disposable email address providers to the blacklist.

Through this, you can effectively protect yourself from such addresses and you also make sure that you do not waste your time, your resources and your money by sending out your newsletters to such disposable addresses.
